Harley Laguna Beach Celebrates 1st Anniversary
Come for wine and food pairings at Harley Laguna Beach's birthday party!

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Harley Laguna Beach is turning one, and owner Chef Greg Daniels has a few tricks up his sleeve for the celebration. Guests will toast the anniversary with Penville wine and four select dinners to pair them with.
"You’ll choose from a number of dishes from Chef Greg Daniels' kitchen to pair with each wine," Daniels says of the menu.
Winemaker Patton Penhallegon will be on hand with a few exciting new releases from Penville Wine, Enz Vineyard Mourvèdre and Stolpman Vineyards Syrah, as well as his Grenache and Rosé.

The wine is delicious, though it is unpretentious and totally Harley Laguna in style.
"This is seriously good wine, but Greg and Patton didn’t want it to be a serious wine dinner," a spokesperson said. "These are two guys celebrating food, wine, and friendship. This is a party."

The year has been an adventure for Daniels, who is back in the kitchen as executive chef.
"The restaurant is named for my grandfather, Harley," explains Daniels on his Facebook page. "Let’s face it, the level of hospitality in the restaurant industry around the U.S. is not what it used to be. I aim to bring that back at Harley; when you come into Harley I want you to feel like I did when I went to my grandfather’s house: always welcome, the food was always good, and I left with a feeling of warmth in my heart."
