Laguna Art Museum Fall Gala 2020, Formal Wear Optional

Celebrate the Laguna Beach Virtual Gala at home on Saturday, in a virtual benefit for the arts in an online extravaganza of art & music.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Art Museum is preparing for a virtual gala like nothing they've ever celebrated before. This year is "black tie optional (or pajamas)" for attendance for the online event to raise funds for the fine arts museum in Laguna Beach.

The virtual benefit, co-chaired by Carla Meberg and Kristin Samuelian, has been somewhat of a feat to put together. Still, the gala promises performances, art, community an fun. The gala begins at 5:30 pm. to 7 p.m. Pacific Time, in an "extravaganza of art and music," a spokesperson says.

This is typically the highlight of the Orange County gala calendar, according to the museum. Though it will be online to account for challenges that come from hosting an event in a pandemic, the organizers expect it to be no less grand.
