LAGUNA BEACH, CA —The Festival of Arts is re-opening the Pageant of the Masters and Fine Art Show for the summer of 2021, that organization announced. Fitting, they said, as the announcement comes on World Art Day, a global celebration of fine arts and creativity.

Tickets will go on sale on May 3, and the shows will both open in early July.

The Festival of Arts Fine Art Show will open on July 5th and welcome patrons daily through September 3rd.

“The Festival has been working closely with the Laguna Beach City staff and would like to thank them for all their input and help to aid us in reaching this decision,” Perry said. “It has been a very challenging year for everyone – especially the arts community – and we are overjoyed and feel blessed to have arrived at this moment.”

The organizers have health and safety of both the artists, volunteers, vendors, staff and patrons of the non-profit in mind as they plan the re-opening. "The board and management team will work in partnership with public health entities and government officials to implement new protocols to keep guests safe, comfortable and healhty," a spokesperson said.

The Festival of Arts Fine Arts Show is a nationally and critically acclaimed event, and one of the finest outdoor art venues held in the summer months, officials say.

The much anticipated Festival of Arts summer schedule is completed with the addition of the world-famous Pageant of the Masters’ one-of-a-kind tableaux vivants or "living pictures."

"The Festival of Arts has always been and will continue to be a vibrant gathering space for visitors and community members to come together to appreciate the visual and performing arts. We are poised to safely re-open our doors and welcome Festival patrons as well as the many participating artists and community volunteers in re-establishing physical and emotional connections, which are a key component of our mission," added Perry. “We know, from decades of serving the community with face-to-face events, that connectivity is vital to the health and success of the arts."
