Laguna Beach City Treasurer Earns Special Designation

Laura Parisi, Laguna Beach City Treasurer, recently earned the Certified Fixed Income Practitioner certificate by finishing Fixed Income Academy’s comprehensive training program designed for public agencies, institutional bond investors, and fiduciaries. Ms. Parisi has been the City Treasurer of Laguna Beach for 14 years where she oversees the city’s investment portfolio, assessment districts, bonds and banking.  Laura also serves as a member of the County of Orange Treasury Oversight Committee.  She is a member of the California Municipal Treasurers’ Association and the Association of Public Treasurers’ of the U.S. and Canada. 

“Fixed Income Academy has allowed me to explore new tools and strategies that have given me more options to select from when managing the city portfolio.  Additionally, the education will assist me when serving on the Treasury Oversight Committee for the County of Orange”, Laura said while attending the recent CMTA conference in Anaheim, California.
