Laguna Beach Community Dev. Dept. to Debut New Online System

Beginning the week of Monday, June 29, the City of Laguna Beach will replace its old permit processing software with its new online system.

Laguna Beach, CA - Beginning the week of Monday, June 29, 2020, the City of Laguna Beach will replace its old permit processing software with its new Land Management Software, OpenGov. OpenGov will allow customers to submit planning applications, zoning plan checks, code enforcement service requests, building permit applications, and more online, reducing the need to call or make lengthy visits to City Hall in person.

OpenGov System Key Features:

  • 24/7 online (or in-person) submittal of permit applications and associated plans and acceptance of credit card payment;
  • Submit for code enforcement service requests online;
  • 24/7 online access to project status for customers; and 24/7 online access to schedule inspections and check inspection status
  • Customer notifications whenever project advances to the next stage in process.

The Laguna Beach Community Development Department will host a virtual Zoom training seminar for the public on the new OpenGov online system this Thursday, June 18, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
