Laguna Beach Ends Extended Weekend Neighborhood Trolley Service

Due to low ridership, Laguna Beach's extended weekend neighborhood trolley service has been ended.

(City of Laguna Beach)

LAGUNA BEACH, CA -- Extended Weekend Neighborhood Trolley service in the city has been discontinued due to low ridership, effective Oct. 4. The City Council voted in late September to eliminate the service.

As of Friday, Oct. 4, the trolleys no longer run extended hours on Routes 3-5 (Top of the World, Bluebird Canyon and Arch Beach Heights) on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

However, the trolleys still run during the day for the following hours: Fridays 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. There is no Sunday service.
