Laguna Beach Girls Water Polo Team Rests Hopes On College Play
The famed Breakers girls water polo team, and coach Ethan Damato, prepare for what's next after coronavirus and into college years.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach Breakers Water Polo team will send more seniors into the college pools. This week, Skylar Kidd, Kenedy Corlett, Mikayla Lopez and Ella Baumgarten committed to attend universities, along with seven other Breakers seniors.
A report in the Daily Pilot tells that Kidd will attend Indiana, Corlett will head to UC Santa Barbara, Lopez is going to Loyola Marymount, and Baumgarten will attend Marist College in New York.
They join fellow seniors Imani Clemons who will head to UC Santa Barbara, Emma Singer and Jessie Rose who have already committed to Cal, and Molly Renner, Nicole Struss, Emma Lineback who will attend UCLA.

Last year, this team of strong and talented water polo players took home both CIF Southern Section, Division 1 and SoCal Regional Division 1 titles.
They finished last year's season with 33 wins and one loss, according to Damato, who makes a habit of relying on all of his players throughout the season.

But there is one more ready to play in college, according to Coach Damato. Rachael Carver will commit to play by early 2021.
