Laguna Beach High Hosts College Round-Up Wednesday

One of Laguna Beach High School’s most anticipated fall events is their annual College Round Up held in the Dugger Gym on Wednesday, October 9 from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. More than 100 colleges, universities, military institutions and test prep companies from around the country are sending representatives.

Hosted by LBHS in conjunction with the LBHS PTA, College Round Up is a cost effective opportunity for students and their families to explore postsecondary educational options before visiting college campuses. Information about admission requirements, availability of on-campus housing, areas of study, athletics, scholarships, financial aid and much, much more is available to help students make informed decisions regarding their life after high school.

New this year for parents and students are breakout sessions scheduled in the high school’s Artists’ Theatre and the K Turner Library. Revolution Test Prep will host their “Demystifying the College Admissions Tests” workshop in the theatre and David Stoeckel will present “College-Bound Athletes and the Athletic Recruiting Experience” in the library. Both workshops begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 6:30 pm.
