Laguna Beach High School Football Update

It's fall, and with that comes high school football action. See how your local Laguna Beach teams are doing this season, so far.

LAGUNGA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach Breakers High School Football team is rearing to go for another week preparing to play St. Margaret's on Sept 22. How are the Laguna Waves doing so far? After winning out of the gate against Bolsa Grande (48-21) it's been a few weeks on the wrong side of the scoreboard. On September 9, the boys fell to the Big Bear Bears with a final score of 32-10, with the Breakers earning a field goal in the first quarter and a TD to finish the game in the 4th.

Coach John Shanahan still has some tricks up his sleeve in these non-conference games. This week, it's Touchdowns Against Cancer and the match-up with St. Margaret's of San Juan Capistrano looks to be fairly even on the spreadsheets. Laguna will look for maximum passing from quarterback Curtis Harrison.
