Laguna Beach High School Returns To Campus On Red Tier For 2021
The Laguna Beach High School and middle school may reopen as early as St. Patrick's Day week.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Call it the luck of the Irish. Still, according to the letter received by families, both Thurston Middle School and Laguna Beach High School may reopen to in-person school as soon as Orange County enters the Red Tier of Gov. Gavin Newsom's Blueprint to a Safer Economy.
Currently, Orange County's coronavirus numbers have been falling over multiple days after over 500,000 residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccination, according to Orange County Health Care Agency.
Health metrics and state guidelines indicate that March 17 would be the reopening date if all continues to go according to the most recent numbers.
