Laguna Beach Restaurant Adds Japanese, Pop-Up Menu

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Rooftop Lounge in Laguna Beach this week expanded its takeout and delivery menu with such Japanese-influenced fare as Onigiri from Los Angeles-based SuperRich LA.

SuperRich's popular Onigiri (Japanese rice balls) are available in a variety of flavor combos, including Yuzu Salmon with Opan Basil and Ume Shiso — pickled plum steeped in agave and shiso leaf. Donburi rice bowls and deep-fried Inari sushi, plus coconut matcha latte and lemon verbena cold brew, round out the pop-up offerings.

Online ordering is available through Ritual.

The Rooftop’s new addition joins the eatery's to-go selections of casual American eats (burgers, sandwiches, pasta and salads), cocktails and the recently added homestyle, Chinese entrees, appetizers and sides from Surf Panda.
