A Laguna Beach woman's death Sunday night along a stretch of Interstate 95 in South Carolina is being called a suicide, according to WSAV-TV, an NBC outlet based in Savannah, Georgia.

Leah Louise Becker, 54, of Laguna Beach, was a passenger in a car when police say she unbuckled her seat belt and intentionally stepped out of the moving vehicle being driven by her brother. She was then struck and killed by a tractor trailer truck in the next lane.
