Gay marriage is once again legal in California, so it was just a matter of time before a big statement celebrating that fact in still-gay-but-not-as-gay-as-it-used-to-be Laguna Beach was made.
That happened yesterday, when Mayor Kelly Boyd helmed the ceremony between long-time Laguna Beach residents Lee Durler and Wayne Lawrence. This was Boyd's first time officiating a wedding.
Durler and Lawrence have been a couple for 51 years. Congrats!Â
