Local Radio Personality Alan Boinus Will Address Exchange Club Today

Submitted by Jim Rue:

The Laguna Beach Exchange Club will be addressed this Thursday, September 12 by activist Alan Boinus, local personality and co-host of the KX 93.5 FM  Sunday morning talk show called "Clashing Heads." Boinus will address the matter of insuring that local voters will be entrusted with the final decision regarding the building of a four-story parking structure between City Hall and the old sewage digester located on the canyon road. Details about that effort can be found at LetLagunaVote.com

The meeting will be held at the Mandarin King, 1224 North Coast Hwy (just south of Midas) at 12:15pm Thursday. To reserve a place at the meeting call Katy Moss at 494-0703 or Jim Rue at 494-6684. Cost for non-members to attend our regular meetings is $20 and includes an excellent lunch.

The Laguna Beach Exchange Club is a local affiliate of the 100-year-old National Exchange Club which raises funds for programs to combat child abuse as well as hosting local programs to support youth and education, promote patriotism, volunteerism and a number of other local projects.
