Man Riding Bike Down Park Avenue Dies After Crash
The 28-year-old, who was wearing a helmet, lost control of his bicycle on the steep street.

A man died after losing control of his bicycle while riding down a steep street in Laguna Beach, a police sergeant and the Orange County coroner said.
Mark Leones, 28, of Costa Mesa crashed in the 1900 block of Park Avenue at 11:05 a.m. Sunday, Laguna Beach police Sgt. Tim Kleiser said.
He suffered head and chest injuries, Kleiser said. The head injuries were in spite of wearing a helmet.

Leones was transported to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 11:57 p.m., according to the coroner.
