If you looooove attending meetings of the city's high-ranking mucky-mucks, then you're in luck. Tonight, there'll be two of 'em.
First up at 4 p.m. will be a joint meeting of the Arts Commission and the City Council -- that'll be one crowded dais. They'll discuss, among other things, the city's Cultural Arts Plan, as well as the rejected Art in Public Places pieces that were finalists for the lifeguard headquarters building.
The regular council meeting closes out the double-header at 6 p.m. On the menu tonight: approving the Rotary Club's annual car show Oct. 6, and a bunch of stuff about sewage. Hey, it's a dirty job, but ...
There will also be the usual grab-bag of approvals of minutes, denials of claims, awardings of contracts, receiving of reports, stuff about stuff, and much, much more!
The Fab Five gather in council chambers at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave. Click here to view the complete agenda and click here to watch the meeting live on the Internet.
