New School Resource Officer Joins Laguna Beach Unified Schools
Be on the lookout for this friendly face at your Laguna Beach Unified School District school!

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Laguna Beach Unified School District has a new school resource officer on staff. This week, Officer Fred Yeilding joins the LBUSD as their second SRO, the Laguna Beach Police Department reported.
"Officer Fred Yeilding comes with excellent customer service experience, as he was recently a Business Liaison Unit," LBPD Sgt. Jim Cota told Patch.
Yeilding has a proven track record for fostering positive community relationships, which will translate well as he moves to work with the school administration and student body.

"The city of Laguna Beach and the Laguna Beach Unified School District are excited about the addition of the second School Resource Officer," Cota said. "With Yeilding's presence, it will be even easier to connect and provide support to the student community. and to create and maintain safe, secure, and orderly learning environments for students, teachers, and staff."
