Pole Replacement Power Shutoff Expected Through Friday

LAGUNA BEACH, CA —This week, drivers in these Laguna Beach neighborhoods need to be advised of road closures, narrowed traffic and intermittent power outages Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, July 15, 16 and 17.

Southern California Edison will replace a utility pole in the 1500 block of Hillcrest Drive.

"One power outage each day is required and the affected customers have been notified," the city of Laguna Beach reported.

Also, on Thursday July 16, SCE will replace an underground switch in the 800 block of Temple Hills Drive.

On that day, one traffic lane will be closed and flaggers will direct traffic during the work, the city said.
