Rickey Woodard Quartet Coming to Hotel Laguna

Laguna Beach Live! presents the Rickey Woodard Quartet, at the Rose Garden in the Hotel Laguna Wednesday July 17, 2013, 6 pm.

Rickey Woodard, tenor saxophonist, was born in Nashville where he began his career playing in a family band. Upon arriving in California he became a permanent member of the Ray Charles Band and toured worldwide for seven years. Since then he has recorded nine albums as a leader with the most recent being Pineapple Delight. Rickey currently works with his own quintet, the Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, and Frank Capp Juggernaut Big Band.

Jazz Wednesdays Summer Series is located in the Rose Garden at the Hotel Laguna from 6-8 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. Food and beverages are available for purchase. Tickets are available online for $15 and $18 at the door. Reservations are suggested. Visit online www.lagunabeachlive.org
