Laguna Beach Overnight Wind Speeds Calculated
The National Weather Service shares the speed of wind gusts that blew smoke across Orange County.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Santa Ana winds howled across the mountains Wednesday night, spreading wildfire and smoke across the region into Thursday.
Top wind gusts in Laguna Beach reached 43 miles per hour as of 12:10 a.m. Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Elsewhere in Orange County, Chino Hills saw wind gusts of almost 80 miles per hour just after midnight.
