A group of young adults are organizing a “Laguna Canyon Music Festival” to welcome in the summer season! This festival will benefit a youth trip to a village in Uganda called Masaka.
This event will be a music/art festival located in Vert Skate Ramp in Laguna Beach, Ca (2003 Laguna Canyon Road Laguna Beach, CA 92651). Event will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 7 – 10 pm. Come out, bring your friends and support the great cause!
Tickets are starting out with presale for just $10, at the door price will be $15. Both ticket and Swag Bag available for an ultimate of $20. The Swag Bag will include 1 piece of art, 1 Folk Fest bracelet, 1 CD from one of the bands, and a pair of sunglasses. The event already has 5 “folkish” artists and bands lined up; Charles Fullwood, The Traveler, Will Winters just to name a few!
In addition to great music, a supporter can expect a great photography gallery, live art, photo booth opportunity and many more exciting activities. All vendors and products will be free within the event with the exception of The Flip Truck that has agreed to come out and support the cause. Inside the event, coffee will be brewing from a local roasting company, bakery stand with delicious cake pops, and Red Bull giving out ice cold Wiiings!
This event is expected to be a very warm and inviting event meant to bring the community together for a memorable night of music and art. The benefit show is being coordinated by Ana Skidmore and Mariya Tolmacheva who have worked with charitable concerts in the past, including benefit shows for Invisible Children. But this time around, they are raising money for E3 Partners. For more information about the trip, visit http://www.e3partners.org/tripcalendarbycountry and click on Uganda.
