Scuba Diver's Body Recovered Off Laguna Beach
A 48-year-old Orange resident died while scuba diving near Heisler Park over the weekend.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A scuba diver found floating in the ocean near Heisler Park on Saturday morning has died, according to reports. The 48-year-old resident of the City of Orange is the third swimmer to die in the waters off Laguna Beach in the last two weeks.
Two other swimmers died at Table Rock Beach since August.
On Saturday, a swimmer discovered the body of the diver before 8 a.m., according to Marine Safety Capt. Kai Bond.

The swimmer brought the diver's body to shore, according to Bond. Then, lifeguards took over in an attempt to revive the unconscious man.
The man was later pronounced dead at Mission Hospital. His identity has not yet been released.
