Storm Dumps More Than One-Third Inch of Rain on Laguna Beach
Flash-flood watch in effect until 1 p.m. Sunday.

A storm out of the Gulf of Alaska brought more than one-third of an inch of rain to Laguna Beach, and cold air filling in behind the front today is likely to cause unstable conditions and afternoon rainfall.
Between 4 p.m. Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday, John Wayne Airport got 0.29 of an inch, while Laguna Beach received 0.38 of an inch, according to the National Weather Service. Orange County remains on a flash-flood watch until 1 p.m. Sunday.
More showers are expected this afternoon and evening, according to the NWS. Thunderstorms and waterspouts also are possible.

This evening, up to 4 inches of snow is expected at elevations as low as 3,500 feet.
