LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Pacific Marine Mammal Center wants you to think of seals and sea lions, like Shipwreck our elephant seal pup rescued in early March while shopping for Mom this mother's day.
Shipwreck was found still with his black coat and now has shed into a very sleek and shiny silver.
"Currently he is in the ‘fish school’ phase," PMMC spokesperson Kritsa Higuchi says.

He still needs some encouragement but is making small steps forward in his rehabilitation ... and according to the center, he's the most handsome Ellie in the house.
