Taste Of Laguna Food & Music Festival Returns to Laguna Beach
Local chefs' signature bites will be paired with live music and dancing on October 14, 2021, when the festival makes its comeback.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA—Tickets have gone on sale for 2021's Taste of Laguna Food & Music Festival, but organizers are still on the hunt for local chefs who'd like to vie for the Foodie Awards. Last year's event was canceled, of course, but in 2019 awards were bestowed in these categories: Most Delicious, Best Plant-Based, Best Table Presentation, Best Dessert, and the People's Choice.
The outdoor event will feature more than 40 participating restaurants and a to-be-announced lineup of live music on the Festival of Arts stage, along with an ample dance floor. Cocktails, wine, and brews; diverse vendors; and bidding on a silent auction round out the fun for the fundraiser.
This will be the second time that KX FM and the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to benefit the work they do on behalf of Laguna Beach. The chamber promotes collaboration while assisting its members in growing their businesses. KX FM, which sells no ads due to FCC regulations, is funded by its membership and community sponsors. In addition to its creative programming, the station serves Laguna Beach by airing critical town council meetings, high school football games, and emergency preparation information.

Both nonprofits are now helmed by women, who bring years of event-promotion bona fides. Chamber President and CEO Sandy Morales produced Taste of Anaheim for 10 years.
KX FM's new general manager, Alyssa Hayek, is looking forward to this year's theme, which brings a silver-lining attitude to the many months of shutdown:

"This year, we decided to take a global approach to the Taste of Laguna Food & Music Festival, since so many of us have been unable to travel," says Hayek. "We can showcase the diversity of the restaurants that are in Laguna Beach and pair them with music that compliments the cuisine. This way, you can feel transported as you eat delicious food without ever leaving Laguna."
Tickets are $85 for general admission. Limited VIP tickets are $150, including one-hour early entry, two drink tickets, and a private bar and lounge area.
Food is included in the ticket price, and attendees can purchase drink tickets inside the festival grounds.
