Traffic, Improvements Week Of Feb. 10 In Laguna Beach
Drivers, be aware, these areas of Laguna Beach could cause some traffic backup in the week ahead.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Drivers, be advised. This week in Laguna Beach, there are some improvements being made to our streets.
Work began in February to install a sidewalk on the east side of Temple Hills Drive, between Dunning Drive and Rim Rock Canyon Road.
Minor traffic impacts can be expected during the working hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

The project also includes street resurfacing and traffic calming measures as well.

Also underway, SCE continues pole replacement.
Southern California Edison (SCE) will be working in two areas in town next week. For questions or concerns, please contact SCE’s Customer Service number at (800) 655-4555.
- Pole Replacements at 818 Bluebird Canyon Drive - On Wednesday, February 12, between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., SCE will be replacing two utility poles located near 818 Bluebird Canyon Drive. The westbound lane at Bluebird Canyon Drive will be blocked near the intersection at Bluebird Canyon Lane and flaggers will be used to direct traffic.
- Night Work at Ocean Avenue - On Thursday, February 13, through Friday, February 14, between 11:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., SCE will be replacing equipment in a vault located in the vehicle lanes at 299 Ocean Avenue. The southbound lane of Ocean Avenue, immediately south of the Ocean Avenue / Beach Street intersection, will be blocked. SCE personnel will direct traffic during the work.
