V-Day In Laguna Beach: Gelson's Offers To-Go Dinners, Dessert

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — While the pandemic has put a damper on many traditions over the past several months, you can still find safe ways to treat your loved ones this Valentine's Day. Gelson's grocery store is offering dinner and dessert for two to-go.

Meals and classic Valentine's Day treats will be available for curbside pickup Feb. 13 and 14. Orange County residents will be able to place orders at any of their locations starting Feb. 1 through Feb. 13. For a list of meal selections and to place an order, visit their website.

Options include two truffled beef wellingtons with a lobster tail or a 16 oz. prime rib with a lobster tail. Both will be served with an apple pomegranate salad, roasted garlic Brussels sprouts and a dessert of chocolate-covered strawberries.

"Decadent," hand-dipped strawberries will be made with Villars Swiss Chocolate and will also be sold seperately in 4 packs, 6 packs and 10 packs. "Swoon-worthy" flower arrangements will also be available for pickup — from classic roses to fresh tulips.
