Burnt Love Letter Found In Caller's Yard

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department June 11-12 in Laguna Niguel.

A caller reported that she found a burnt love letter in her yard. She believed it was related to a call a few weeks previously, regarding a subject with a rifle. The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 12 at 8:05 a.m. at the 29200 block of Balloch Street.

Wednesday, June 12:  

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 8:47 p.m. Street of the Golden Lantern/Marina Hills Drive. A caller reported that a subject went into CVS and bought alcohol for minors.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 12:27 p.m. Street of the Golden Lantern/Marina Hills Drive. A caller reported that 2 transients were lying with something over their faces at the Crystal Cay pool.

Tuesday, June 11:

Disturbance. 7:36 p.m. 31400 block of Isle Vista. A caller reported that his neighbor always catcalls his wife. When the caller confronted him, they got into a verbal argument. The man was 51 years old, with dark hair, and was wearing a gray t-shirt and shorts.

Disturbance. 2:57 p.m. 100 block of Chandon. A caller reported that he heard a man screaming, “Oh God!” for 30 minutes. The caller stated that the stepfather who lives at the residence has anger issues.
