Chipotle Offers New Chipotlane Drive-Thru Pickup In Orange County

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA —Drive into the Chipotlane in Foothill Ranch to pick up your favorite meals at the new Chipotle Mexican Grill. Yes, that's right, this popular Mexican grill has opened a new restaurant featuring a drive-thru pick-up "Chipotlane" allowing customers to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.

In addition to being open for takeout, mobile pick-up, and contactless delivery with tamper-evident packaging, the new restaurant – located at 26592 Towne Centre Drive, Foothill Ranch, CA 92610 – will serve customers in its dining area with limited seating and heightened safety protocols.

Erin Wolford, Chipotle Senior Director of External Communications, discussed the latest opening with Patch. Foothill Ranch guests who order via the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com can measure the individual impact of their go-to order on the environment.

"We're excited to bring our responsibly sourced, real ingredients to the Foothill Ranch community," Wolford said.

"Real Foodprint" is Chipotle's first-of-its-kind sustainability tracker, measures orders for less carbon in the atmosphere, water saved, improved soil health, organic land supported, and antibiotics avoided, according to the chain.

For guests who want to give back, Chipotle is leveraging its app and website as a donation platform. Customers can currently round up their bill to the highest dollar amount at checkout to donate to the National Young Farmers Coalition, a national advocacy network of young farmers fighting for the future of agriculture.

Chipotle also makes it easy to fundraise for local Foothill Ranch causes with events that give back 33 percent. Brand-new digital fundraiser codes increase fundraiser access for customers who prefer to order ahead digitally; they enter the unique code and then pick-up or carry out their food at the participating restaurant. According to a Chipotle spokesperson, each restaurant in the chain adds around 25 jobs and offers residents competitive benefits, including a crew bonus with the opportunity to earn an extra month's worth of pay each year.
