CHOC Full Of Halloween Spirit For These Patients

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Children's Hospital Orange County patients and families enjoyed a recent Spirit Halloween event, complete with costumes, games, music and crafts.

Through the Spirit of Children program, Spirit Halloween hosts nearly 100 Halloween parties at partner hospitals across North America to help ensure hospitalized children and teens, along with their families, can enjoy the scary fun of the season despite being in the hospital.

To date, the Spirit of Children Program has raised more than $495,997 for CHOC Children's.

Funds for Spirit of Children are raised via donations from customers at more than 1,360 Spirit Halloween stores and www.SpiritHalloween.com, in addition to contributions from vendors and business partners.

One hundred percent of funds raised by Spirit of Children stay local and are donated to each hospital’s Child Life department.
