
Here is a look ahead to events and happenings in Laguna Niguel-Dana Point and Orange County for Dec. 2-8.
- The Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce wants you to shop local this holiday, and they're putting money where their mouth is. For every receipt from a local retailer you bring to the chamber (30111 Crown Valley Pkwy) through Jan. 10, you will receive one raffle ticket that could win you one of three gift bags. The gift bags range in value from $250 to $1,000 in local retailer gift certificates. Learn more here.Â
- If you want to try pancakes with Santa Claus, you'll get your opportunity Saturday at the Laguna Niguel YMCA. This free event for YMCA members starts at 8:30 a.m.
- It's time for Laguna Niguel to light its Christmas tree! To stand by for the big event, head to City Hall, 30111 Crown Valley Pkwy, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday. Entertainment will include local entertainers, crafts and balloon-twisting.
- The Friends of the Laguna Niguel Library will hold their holiday book and jumble sale Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.Â
- The Laguna Playhouse is performing A Christmas Memory Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. This holiday play tells the story of Buddy, his cousin Sook, little dog Queenie, and family as they fly kites, cook up fruitcake, and celebrate the season.
