Crime: Couple Gets Into Squabble; Boy Throws Rocks at Squirrels

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department July 10-11. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Wednesday, July 10:
Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 9:20 a.m. 29700 block of Running Deer Lane. A caller reported that his neighbors were out of town and there was a smashed pumpkin on the street in front of their residence. He believed that meant there was something wrong.

Disturbance. 9:55 p.m. 100 block of Seafare. A caller reported that his girlfriend was breaking glass and hit him in the face. His lip was bleeding and he was locked in the bathroom. The woman was arrested and released. The D.A. refused to prosecute.

Thursday, July 11:
Disturbance. 12:44 a.m. 29500 block of Ivy Glenn Drive. A caller reported that she was in a verbal argument with her neighbor over the smoke from his fire pit.

Defrauding An Innkeeper. 6:22 p.m. 30000 block of Tessier. A caller reported that a man and woman went inside the Hidden Hills apartment complex to get money and never came back to pay.

Disturbance. 6:51 p.m. Island Way/Dana Point Harbor Drive. A caller reported that a 10-year-old boy was throwing rocks at squirrels. He had blonde hair and was wearing a t-shirt and shorts. (Dana Point)

Disturbance. 9:23 p.m. 24800 block of Dana Point Drive. A caller reported that her husband pushed her after she called him out on an affair he was having. (Dana Point)
