Crime: Man Asks for Sex; Gardener Makes Unwanted Advances

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department July 22-23. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Monday, July 22:
Keep the Peace. 5:35 p.m. Avery Parkway/Camino Capistrano. A caller reported that an employee at Chevron refused to refund her money or give her the gas she paid for.

Suspicious Person In Vehicle. 7:04 p.m. La Paz Road/Plaza de la Paz. A caller reported that an older man approached her and her friend at Taco Bell, and asked if he could have sex with them. He then followed them and asked if he could be their friend. The girls were underage. The man drove a green/blue colored van.

Tuesday, July 23:
Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 6:12 p.m. Avenida del Caballo/Star Drive. A caller reported that she was traveling south on the 73 freeway and was about to merge onto the 5, when someone threw something at her vehicle.

Citizen Assist. 7:29 p.m. Unknown block of Patra. A caller reported that her neighbor’s gardener hugged and kissed her neck after he helped her wash her car.

Disturbance. 11:28 p.m. Unknown block of Mercato. A caller reported that she got in an argument with her neighbor over his blocking the road. He then got upset, ran over her trashcans and called her names.
