Crime: Man Starts Fight Over Lost Soccer Game; Loud Screaming Children

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department July 6-7. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Saturday, July 6:
Disturbance. 7:52 p.m. Alicia Parkway/Skate Park Way. A caller reported that a man was trying to fight others at the soccer field over losing a game. He was in his 30s and was wearing a blue t-shirt and dark gray shorts.

Suspicious Person/Circumstances. 11:15 p.m. Beacon Hill Way/Street of the Golden Lantern. A caller reported that teens were putting bales of hay in the road.

Sunday, July 7:
Vandalism in Progress. 5:28 a.m. 24900 block of Hidden Hills Road. A caller reported that someone keyed his car at the Windridge apartment complex.

Disturbance. 7:07 p.m. 28900 block of Aloma Avenue. A caller reported that the children at the location play outside and scream in excess of 90 decibels.

Petty Theft Report. 8:15 p.m. 34600 block of the Street of the Golden Lantern. A caller reported that someone stole one of his fishing poles while he was on a fishing boat in the harbor. (Dana Point)
