Dana Point Chef Shares Fabulous Cooking With Others: Local Hero
We all know someone who's making a difference. Let's help share these amazing stories! Presented by Ring.
DANA POINT, CA —When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Patricia Bauer who nominated Dani Leyva, a personal chef at All Things Fabulous. Bauer has hired Leyva as a personal chef, and says "she has a very big heart and is a great chef."

Though her hometown is in San Clemente, Leyva cooks out of a professional kitchen in Dana Point.
"At the beginning of covid, she used her professional kitchen to prepare reasonably priced meals for pickup," Bauer tells Patch.

Going the extra mile, Leyva also delivered meals to seniors. When money was tight, she even donated meals so that others could eat.
"She has a great heart, and is a great chef," Bauer says.
Thank you for all that you do, Leyva!
