Fist-Pumper Disrupts Traffic; Theft of Purse and Plants

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department August 10-11. All incidents were reported within Laguna Niguel unless otherwise noted.

Saturday, August 10:
Disturbance. 8:00 a.m. Crown Valley Parkway/Pacific Coast Highway. A caller reported that a man was riding a skateboard in traffic, pumping his fist in the air, cutting off cars and running red lights. He was wearing a black hat and green plaid shirt. (Dana Point)

Disturbance. 10:38 a.m. 27400 block of Alicia Parkway. A caller reported that two drivers were involved in a road rage incident. The driver of a white BMW had a “respect your elders” sticker on his back window, and was being followed by a driver in a dark gray Jeep. The driver of the Jeep was cursing at the elderly male.

Petty Theft. 12:07 p.m. 34000 block of Calle La Primavera. A caller reported that someone stole her potted plants. (Dana Point)

Sunday, August 11:
Citizen Assist. 12:06 a.m. Unknown block of Villamoura. A caller reported that she had called earlier regarding issues with her neighbor’s barking dog, and since then, she found toilet paper in her yard.

Petty Theft Report. 3:50 p.m. 30200 block of Crown Valley Parkway. A caller reported that her purse was taken from her cart while at Vons. A credit card from the purse was then used at a Chevron.
