Homeowner Thankful Cats Brought to Safety After Fire Breaks Out
Firefighters respond to structure fire in Laguna Niguel.
A small frame fire broke out today in a home in the 24000 block of  in Laguna Niguel.
Fire Battalion 4 of the Orange County Fire Authority responded to the blaze. The owner of the home, who was visibly shaken and upset, said she was grateful that firefighters brought her two cats out safely.
"They don't even smell like smoke," she said to a firefighter.Â

Neighbors and other passersby watched as firefighters carried out debris and other items from the home. They had cut a hole in the roof to gain access.
