Man’s Best Friend Allegedly Abused By Its Own Owner

A rundown of calls that came into the O.C. Sheriff’s Department November 3-4. Incidents reported from Dana Point are noted as such. Other incidents were reported in Laguna Niguel.

Sunday

  • In an email, a man told a Laguna Niguel resident he had considered killing himself, but he said that aliens "told him he might not be worth it." The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the 29200 block of Alfieri Street.
  • Around 8:30 a.m. at the Home Depot located at the cross streets of La Paz and Aliso Creek, a man was pulling a wagon, waving his hands in the air and cursing.

Monday

  • A caller was upset over how long it took Animal Control to respond to his complaint of hearing a German Shepard yelping at an apartment at the 28100 block of Moulton Parkway, around 8:30 p.m. He saw a man punch the dog that was chained to the balcony, and yell at him for stepping on the dog poop that was all over the patio. When the caller confronted the man about it, he started arguing with him. 
  • Around 6:30 every morning, a man who is allegedly part of the Harley Davidson biker gang was said to disturb the Hidden Hills apartment complex leaving on a loud motorcycle.
