Menorah Lighting In Dana Point, Hanukkah Celebration Begins
On December 22, La Plaza Park is the place to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah.
DANA POINT, CA —The first night of the eight-day holiday of Hanukkah is being celebrated at La Plaza Park over the weekend.
On Sunday, from 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Rabbi Eli Goorevitch of the Chabad of Dana Point will light the 9-foot Menorah at La Plaza Park, the city of Dana Point said in release.
A free community event, all are invited to celebrate afterward with light refreshments to include, potato latkes, coffee, donuts, and chocolate coins.

There will also be activities for the kids to include a caricature artist, crafts, music and more.
