PHOTOS: Special Needs Kids Fish for Life out of Dana Point

A local nonprofit hosts dozens of special needs kids for half-day fishing trips.

A few dozen special needs children Saturday took a day-long fishing trip on a boat out of Dana Point Harbor -- a free trip provided by Fish for Life.

The Fish for Life nonprofit group teaches special needs kids important life skills and lets them feel a sense of accomplishment through fishing, according to the group's website.

The next trip is scheduled for June 22.
