Sonance Foundation Gifts $1,500 to Family Assistance Ministries
A gift donation of $1,500 will Support Gilchrist House to Help Individuals in Transition.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — In an annual tradition, San Clemente-based Sonance co-founders, Scott Struthers & Geoff Spencer, along with Struthers & Amber Ringstad, donated $1,500 to the Gilchrist House.
“At Sonance, we do everything as a team,” said Ari Supran, Chief Executive Officer of Sonance. “Not just at work, but when we volunteer. Whether it's cleaning up our local beaches, helping kids at the local Boys & Girls Club, or assembling bags of food for distribution at Family Assistance Ministries, we are at our best when we are serving others."
Gilchrist House is a division of Family Assistance Ministries that provides interim shelter for single women and single mothers with children experiencing homelessness.

In addition to a safe place to live, this program offers case management services for the participants, assistance in obtaining needed healthcare and securing a reliable source of income.
"At Sonance, we've cultivated a culture of giving back,” said Struthers. “I'm super proud of our employees of their pay-it-forward attitude and mindset to do for others that they cannot do for themselves."

Also this month, another organization started by Struthers, Elephant Cooperation, delivered its first in a series of monthly “food drops” to the hunger-stricken community of Amboseli, Kenya.
In 2021, as part of a new initiative, called “Elephants to the Rescue”, Elephant Cooperation will distribute $100,000 of food to over 2,500 people living in Amboseli and Marsabit.
