Top Chef John Tesar Opens Outer Reef At Laguna Cliffs Marriott
John Tesar of 'Top Chef' fame, opens "Outer Reef," a new restaurant inside the Laguna Cliffs Mariott of Dana Point. Seafood lovers, rejoice!
DANA POINT, CA — Top Chef contestant John Tesar is opening a seafood restaurant in Dana Points Laguna Cliffs Marriott and Spa, the resort said. The new digs for this Dallas native will be set to open in late 2018, according to the hotel.
The property, undergoing a million dollar renovation, according to D Magazine, will include an outdoor patio overseeing the marina. Expect delicious seafood to arrive soon.
Thought Tesar is rumored to be appointing an executive chef at Outer Reef, he will oversee the menu, they said.

Tesar has appeared on Bravo's "Top Chef" competition show twice, according to Eater Los Angeles. He is also a four-time James Beard nominee.
