Virtual College Fair For Marine Sciences This Week At Ocean Inst.

Does your graduating senior want to study Marine Biology? See who is presenting & how to register for the Ocean Institute's virtual fair.

DANA POINT, CA — Is your junior or senior high school student interested in Marine Biology or maritime studies? Universities and colleges across the country will be present at a virtual college fair, sponsored by the Ocean Institute and the Nicholas Endowment.

On March 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific time a free college fair is available for prospective students.

The event will include live presentations, small session chats, student and alumni panels, exhibits, and more, according to the Ocean Institute.

"The interactive day will inform and encourage students about post-high school, college, and career opportunities" in marine and environmental sciences, a spokesperson for the Ocean Institute says.

Keynote speaker and ocean advocate Danni Washington will also be present, they say.

"Showcase your marine and environmental sciences programs to a national audience of college-bound students, along with their parents and counselors through a virtual exhibit booth, and receive leads for all students, parents, and counselors who engage with you during the program.

Choose to become a Sponsor and also receive special logo recognition for your institution, a showcase video, and a live informational session during the fair.
