Water Problems Shut Down Dana Point Harbor Inn
A sewage backup and related plumbing problems have kept the hotel closed for two weeks.

The Dana Point Harbor Inn near the corner of PCH and Dana Point Harbor Drive remains shut down by a sewage backup, according to county health inspection documents.
While responding to a complaint on Nov. 12, a health inspector found that the inn lacked operable restrooms because of the backup that began the previous day.
While attempting to repair the backup, the hotel shut off plumbing, leaving patrons without running water. Continental breakfast was served the morning health inspectors arrived, according to the report.
Although a follow-up inspection had been scheduled for Nov. 19, the hotel remains closed, an employee confirmed Monday.
