Woman Killed While Walking On San Diego Freeway Identified
The 58-year-old woman reportedly walked in front of a big rig on the road.
The Orange County coroner’s office [on Sunday] identified the woman killed when she walked in front of a big rig on the San Diego (5) Freeway.
The woman was identified as 58-year-old Laura Hobbi, with no city of residence given.
It happened about 5 a.m. Saturday on the southbound San Diego Freeway south of the 73 toll road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The woman now identified as Hobbi reportedly walked in a westerly direction into the far right lane, in front of the 2000 Peterbilt tractor- trailer.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.
