Annual Paws & Pints Fundraiser Set This Evening In La Jolla

The event, where dogs are welcome, and with impressive live and silent auction items and children's activities benefits animal rescues.

LA JOLLA, CA – The La Jolla Veterinary Hospital will host its sixth annual Paws and Pints La Jolla fundraiser this evening, Thursday, to raise money for local animal shelters and animal welfare organizations.

The event will feature an auction with items from more than 100 local merchants and artists as well as San Diego Padres tickets, surfboards and multiple packages for local restaurants, hotels, museums and breweries. Proceeds from the event benefit the Rancho Coastal Humane Society's foster program and the Foundation for Animal Care and Education.

"This event is in our community, for the community, and it has evolved into something La Jolla looks forward to year after year," said Stephanie Coolidge, the event's founder and director. "We have more RSVPs this year than any other year thus far. It is a wonderful feeling to anticipate the success and impact of one night."
