Anthony is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

His knee is better now.

Anthony is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 2 year old, 47 pound, male, Shepherd / Labrador Retriever mix.

Anthony was left in the night drop of a shelter in Riverside County before he was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.

He had a limp when he arrived. Tests showed that he needed surgery to repair his knee cap. Now he’s had the surgery and he continues to improve every day.

The animal care attendants say that Anthony is an energetic and enthusiastic dog who gets along great with kids and loves having his tummy rubbed.

The $145 adoption fee for Anthony includes medical exams, vaccinations, neuter, registered microchip, and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
