Best Outdoor Restaurants In CA: OpenTable's 2019 List

CALIFORNIA – Now that summer has officially started, it is prime season for outdoor dining, and OpenTable has released its annual "100 Best Al Fresco Restaurants in America" list. The list highlights restaurants that offer stunning views, delicious menus and above all else, incredible outdoor dining experiences, according to the website.

California came out on top again this year with 31 restaurants featured on the list, followed by Florida with 26 and Hawaii with 10.

"Outdoor dining is synonymous with summer – there's no better way to soak up a city's scenery, be it urban vistas or waterfront views, than with an al fresco table at one of this year's winning restaurants," Caroline Potter, OpenTable's chief dining officer, said in a statement. "Diners looking to snag a prime spot can use OpenTable's Seating Options feature to find the perfect place to celebrate the season."

OpenTable, the online restaurant reservation system, compiled its list based on more than 12 million reviews submitted on the site for over 30,000 restaurants in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Restaurants in 19 states and Washington, D.C. landed on the list.
