Dining Deals For Mother's Day 2018

CALIFORNIA – Make Mom happy, and book a reservation for a Mother's Day special brunch or dinner for Sunday, May 13.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas: Treat Mom to brunch and a movie. Participating locations will be offering Mother’s Day showings of special movies (including “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “The Sound of Music”) along with special menu items and wine pairings. The Drafthouse Cinema is in San Francisco, with another planned to open in Los Angles.

Black Angus Steakhouse: Treat Mom to steak. The prime rib and lobster are $29.99 — meal includes two classic sides and warm molasses bread. The Capital Grille: The special Mother’s Day brunch menu ($49) includes various starter, entree and dessert choices. Add endless mimosas for $14. Children’s brunch is $15. Make reservations here. Capital Grille is in Costa Mesa.

Cold Stone Creamery: Cold Stone Creamery has special occasion cakes that are a great fit for Mother’s Day. Options include the Rich & Dreamy Ice Cream Cake (available for a limited time) and the Strawberry Passion Ice Cream Cake. Click here to find the closest store.

Eddie V’s Prime Seafood: The Mother’s Day brunch menu will be served May 13 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. For $49, you get warm cinnamon rolls, a starter, a main course and a dessert. See details and menu. California locations are in La Jolla and San Diego.

Fleming’s: Restaurants will open early at 10 a.m. for Mother’s Day brunch. The three-course brunch menu ($47) will be served until 3 p.m. and includes appetizer, entree, side and dessert choices. Fogo de Chao: Participating locations will give moms who dine on May 13 a complimentary dining card to use later. The complimentary dining card can be redeemed May 14 to July 12, 2018, for one complimentary lunch, Sunday brunch or full churrasco dinner. On Mother’s Day, food will be dinner prices all day. Children ages 7 to 12 eat for half price, and children 6 and under eat free. Reservations strongly recommended. Locations are in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and San Jose.

The Melting Pot: Participating locations will be holding special Mother’s Day meals. Check your location for details. Some locations will start as early as May 11 and offer take-home gifts for mom, special packages that include balloons and bouquets and special menu items. Mimi’s Cafe: Mimi’s will be serving a three-course menu on Mother’s Day from 11 a.m. to close. Prices start at $18.99 for adults, and kids’ meals are $8.99.
