'Fallen Star: Finding Home' is a Look Behind The Work's Creation
"Fallen Star: Finding Home" takes us behind the scenes in the creation of the of the 18th public artwork in the Stuart Collection.

The UC San Diego Stuart Collection is pleased to present the world premiere of “Fallen Star: Finding Home,” a 50-minute film by Do Ho Suh, directed by Vera Brunner-Sung and Valerie Stadler.
Perched atop the seventh floor of the Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California, San Diego, Do Ho Suh’s “Fallen Star” has become a beloved landmark. It’s planning, however, required years of effort and innovations in architecture, construction, and engineering.

A story of collaboration and the ways that art can surprise you, "Fallen Star: Finding Home" takes us behind the scenes in the creation of the 18th public artwork in the Stuart Collection. The artist will be present.
Two free screenings will happen at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5 at UC San Diego. Seating is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
